It has a 10-foot power cord 18/3 SJOW-A and mechanical shaft seals including stainless steel spring, nitrile parts, carbon, and ceramic faces. A 1/3 HP shaded pole motor with thermal overload protection is also part of its design aside from an oil-filled motor housing for lifetime lubrication and rapid heat dissipation. It also has an upper and a lower sintered sleeve bearings for extended motor life. This pump features a 1-1/2-inch discharge with a maximum lift of 18 feet. Polycarbonate cover and polypropylene volute-base as well as cast iron pump housings with a protective epoxy coating for corrosion and rust resistance. This pump also includes a 1-1/4-inch adapter and 3/4-inch Garden Hose adapter for convenience. It also works with automatic operation with pressure switch operating pump when the water level is between 7 inches and 10 inches then the pump will shut off when the water level falls to between 1 inch and 4 inches. Pressure switch is non-adjustable.
